Warning : Do Not Get Involved With Mginger

If you have read my previous post then I might seem like a rather fickle minded person. First I advocate you to join Mginger and then i say do not join it. Ok now if I have made a mistake and I am ready to accept it and hence would prefer others take heed of my advice and not join Mginger.

It has been weeks since i joined Mginger and i have just got two messages by them and guess what are my earnings? Just 40 paise!!!! Damn it ….. that’s not enough to buy a Chloromint also. On top of that I have a referral network of 30 friends. So either the Mginger programmme is a total failure or its a scam. So I would like to advice all my readers not to indulge in it. If you have already registered, no problem. There’s no harm. But if you haven’t then ….Stay Away From It.

Mginger might still be good and maybe it just has not got too many advertisers and hence it is not able to provide mobile users with ads. But still I would advice all those who want to join it to wait and see whether the thing actually works.

That maybe true Amit but I have earned about Rs.120 from mGinger last month. This month, they were a bit bankrupt regarding the advertised SMS. And my other mobile which I registered haven’t got any SMS yet!

as i said it is either a scam or maybe it just did not work out for the Mginger team. Anyway their business model is good only if they could encash on it properly.

I’d differ partially with you.
It’s definitely a good business model Amit. But i’m assuming that they do not have enough ads to deliver on the categories suggested.And thus the capital is missing.I dont see any other problem with it.

You decided to try it – now you have the results.
I would put it this way – i trust you joined them seeing the money.Big mistake MLM’s like this give you money for reading and sending spam(remember those read mail-get paid scams?).This one is only a beginner(though the model is good), and it will take some time to catch up you see.

Anyway you’ve decided to read and deliver spam, so wait for some while and may be things will be better.

Meanwhile, quick question – when you refer an ad to a friend, dontyou have to pay for the sms? In that case, damn! 40 paise is too low .You are right.

Mani very true indeed Mginger may improve with time but the thing is that right now they are not doing good, so no point in joining it now.

Also more than for money I joined it wondering like whether such a system really had the potential to deliver what it promised. So to check out and see whether mginger can deliver, I decided to go for it.

No you do not refer ad by sms, its like the referral system of google type. If a friend of yours makes an mginger account with your referral id, then you get some percentage from his/her money.

Hi it is true that they delete any remarks posted about their sites in blog list. I had scolded them because i got an ad from another source about some adventure of that sort. I also enquired few of my friends(2 to be precise) and they also told they got the same message. The thing is if the people dont care they would fool you up and provide your number to their advertisers to send you ad and they profit but you end up with nothing…. such a waste of time…..

hey guys, get registered under sms2india. U knoe i have a network of more than 200 frnds. I had earned rs.1000 from it in just 12 days. I have joined mginger this aug 2009 and in starting received quit good ads which earned me 10 bucks but after that ads completly stoped.. few of my frnds as they were close to 300 rp they stoped receiving ads.. recently i av joined smsgala.com they give 145char of sms space with no ad and pay u for sending sms’s so even if they run out of ads u ll not stop earning.. best of luck..

I have joined mginger in the year 2007 july and within 20 days I have created a network of 153 persons through several sites. In those 153 persons only 8 are my friends, rest I don’t know . So far I have earned over Rs. 4500/-. As I have restricted internet now at my office, my network did not grow threafter. But I still receive Rs. 150/- per month. I withdraw the amount once in a year, in puja time. So my calculation is : one can earn 1 rupee per month per person. And those should be from different big cities.
I am from Kolkata. LONG LIVE mGinger.

Hey, I dont agree with your point

I made around 2000Rs from Mginger just having 25 friends list. Some people wont get messages after joining mginger because they might not verified their email id and mobile number (both) OR again it depends on what type of messages people have subscribed. I know some of my friends made more than 10K from it with in a year.

Even if we get 1 Rs or 2 Rs its ok right ?
What we lost from it is important than what we gain from it..

Mginger is A TOTAL SCAM WEBSITE.

They collect referrals and DO NOT PAY YOU.

They have collected 245 referrals from me and refused to pay me.

MGINGER IS A PUCCA FRAUD WEBSITE.

Hey, I signed up on mginger one month back and have now have started getting messages on a regular basis since the past one month. And after signing up I get paid for getting sms is not bad as compared to the annoying cellular services who call or message u even if u do not want. Only thing is hope this people pay! 🙂

hi guys.. i really dont know.. but i joined in feb 2008. over 3 years. i didn’t done anything for my account. i just upgraded. recently i’ve completed my studies. now today i just checked my account and my earnings are rs.15. when i made a mail to the team of mginger, they replied you cant earn like that atleast you should have a minimum network members. so, what’s your opinion can i earn by making referrals. i’l check from today onwards, i’m going to make some referrals.

mginger is the worst ,the worst online shopping portal.

I bought a mobile from this fake website,I was cheated with the wrong product.

I contacted them with regards to the problem i have with that mobile like Camera quality, processing ,Processing speed………. they assured me for replacement and from then no call at all.

When i contacted them again they told they can’t do anything.

They attract u with the best prices but its better to get China items rather than purchasing any product from mginger for that amount.

Be aware of this particular website.

mginger is the worst ,the worst online shopping portal.
I bought a wicom 21 mobile from this fake website,I was cheated with the WITHOUT product.
I contacted them with regards to the problem BUT THEY NOT SEND MY PRODUCT(MOBILE SET).
When i contacted them again they can’t do anything.

Please dont buy anything from Mginger. The products that show on their website is different from what they send u on purchase. Recently I ordered “Military Cargo Shorts With Army Multi Tool Knife”. They claimed that the cargo is worth 1199 and they are giving it for 699. However, the cargo that they send is not worth more than 200. Its made up of such inferior quality material and has such awkward design that u can only wear it in bed at night. They are total cheats. I am going to file complaint against them. Please be aware of mginger. They are cheats. Dont buy anything from their website.
